RESOLUTION NO <br />14 -010 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MONETARY SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS FROM DAIRY <br />EN, 409 OLD HIGHWAY 8 NW, NEW BRIGHTON, MN IN THE AMOUNT OF $613.82 <br />AND ALSO OTHER TANGIBLE DONATIONS BENEFITTING PROGRAM <br />PARTICIPANTS IN THE NEW BRIGHTON PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT <br />FOR 2013. <br />REAS, the City desires that all New Brighton youth and families are able to participate in <br />Parks and Recreation programs; and <br />S, the City Council appreciates financial and tangible support from businesses, <br />community organizations or individuals toward youth and families who may not be <br />able to participate in New Brighton's recreational activities due to their income status; <br />and <br />the City welcomes funds and tangible donations to help maintain the quality and <br />quantity of affordable recreational opportunities for New Brighton families, <br />NO , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to hereby <br />app ve the resolution accepting the monetary scholarship donations from Dairy Queen at 409 Old <br />Hig i way 8 NW, New Brighton in the amount of $613.82 to assist low income families in participating <br />in w Brighton Parks and Recreation programs and also other tangible donations benefitting program <br />part ipants in the New Brighton Parks and Recreation Department. <br />Adopted this 14th day of January, 2014. <br />Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br />Dean R.
