I <br /> <br />'" <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-095 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />:$jESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 98-1, VERMONT PARK AREA <br />$TREET RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />$iE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Owner has waived notice of notice of hearing and hearing on the special assessments <br />as required by law, and the City Council has met and heard and passed the proposed assessment of the nine <br />lots improved and benefited lots platted as Karol's Stony Lake Second Addition <br />BY: The construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, concrete curb and gutter, and street <br />surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minneliota: <br /> <br />i. The total amount to be assessed is $156,278.3 8. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing Improvement Number <br />6770 is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often <br />(10) years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 2000 and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of 6.5 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment <br />resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to <br />the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the <br />date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br />assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time <br />thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest <br />accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5.
