RESOLUTION No. 14 -032 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />APPROVING A SUMMARY PUBLICATION FOR ORDINANCE No. 822. <br />LEAS, the City has adopted the above referenced ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the verbatim text of the ordinance is cumbersome, and the expense of <br />publ' at ion of the complete text is not justified; and <br />WHEREAS, the following summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of <br />the o inance. <br />Now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />that the following summary is hereby approved for official publication: <br />SUMMARY PUBLICATION <br />Ordinance No. 822: <br />An Amendment Related to <br />Permitted Uses, Building Types, and Site Standards <br />in the NWQ, Northwest Quadrant Zoning District <br />and renaming the zoning district <br />to NBE, New Brighton Exchange <br />Ordinance No. 822 was adopted by the City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />on April 22, 2014, amending Chapter 6, Article 6 of the Zoning Code revising the <br />list of permitted uses, allowed building types, and site standards. The Ordinance <br />also renames the zoning district NBE, New Brighton Exchange. The revised <br />district regulations aim to provide more flexibility on building placement <br />standards, subject to incorporation of design standards as reflected in the <br />Northwest Quadrant Framework Plan. Depending on the specific building <br />placement, a special use permit may be required. The Ordinance also revises the <br />list of permitted uses and building types to reflect the development that has <br />already occurred in the district and a revised Figure A regarding building types <br />was created.
