Paetznick, Deputy Director of Public Safety <br />CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br />No comments to supplement this report %",/ Comments attached <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt the resolution recognizing the participation of New Brighton Firefighters in the Muscular <br />Dystrophy Association's Fill the Boot Campaign, June 3 -5, 2014. <br />Legislative History: <br />N/A <br />Financial Impact: <br />During the past four years, New Brighton Firefighters have raised $36,520.85 during their <br />participation in the annual MDA Fill the Boot Campaign. <br />Explanation: <br />Members of the New Brighton Department of Public Safety Fire Division are volunteering their <br />time to raise funds in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association by conducting a "Fill the <br />Boot" Campaign during June 3 -5 at various intersections in the City of New Brighton. The <br />Muscular Dystrophy Association is a dedicated partnership of scientists and citizens aimed at <br />conquering neuromuscular diseases.
