The company hæ prepared application materials <br />and the Cþ is not plalng an active role in tle dishibution of fimds. Staffrecommended the Council approve <br />a Resolution of support for CSI's application to DEED. <br />Councilmember Bauman believed this was one ofthe most importantpa¡fs ofthis entire project. She wished <br />CSI much succ,ess as they expanded their corporate headquarten in the New Brighton. <br />Councilmember Burg agreed stating ûrejobs qrated by CSI would be valuable to the community and would <br />positively impact New Brighton's economy. <br />Councilrnember Sfub repolted CSI wæ plarning to add 205 new jobs over the next three years. He tharked <br />CSI and Ryan again, forworkingwith üre Cityto completethis redevelopmentproject. <br />Mayor Jacobsen thanked the Council and søfffor all oftheir exfia efforts and for working through the <br />negotiation process wifh CSI and Ryan Companies. <br />City Manager l¡tter also thanked Senator Goodwin for æsiSing the Cþ with moving the MPCA approvals <br />along. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt a Resolution of <br />Support for Cardiovascular Systems,Inc application to the Minnesota Deparfment of Employment <br />and Economic Development @EED), Job Creation Fl¡nd. <br />5 Ayes,0 Nays-Motion Carried <br />Commission Liaison ReDorts.
