Legislative History: Past council action includes: Improvement Hearing (approved project) April 9, 2013 Council approved Plans and Specifications May 28, 2013 Bids opened by Staff July 2, 2013 Bid Awarded July 9, 2013 Ordering Preparation of Assessments August 26, 2014 Set Assessment Public Hearing date August 26, 2014 Financial Impact: Project 13 -1 is proposed to be funded from special assessments, Municipal State Aid (MSA) funds, utility improvement funds, and City taxes. Cost and funding are covered in detail in the assessment report. Explanation: Project 13 -1 consisted of the rehabilitation of the following streets in the summer of 2013: Windsor Lane - Entire Loop (Silver Lake Road) Windsor Court - County Road E to Cul -de -sac Windsor Way - Windsor Court to 20th Ave SW Rehabilitation included the installation of new bituminous surfacing and concrete curb and gutter repair, watermain replacement, sanitary sewer repairs, storm sewer extensions and ponding improvements. Attached is the 2014 Assessment Report which contains the project costs, assessment rates, project location map, and a resolution necessary for the adoption of the assessments. Grant yffels, O.E.
