RESOLUTION NO. 14-081 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 13-1,2013 STREET <br />REHABILITATION <br />SOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br />AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed <br />osed assessment of the benefited lots in the area. <br />e construction of stonn sewer, watennain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, sidewalk, and street <br />rehab I tation. <br />REFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br />]. The total amount to be assessed is $192,433.38. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63131000 is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount ofthe assessment levied against <br />it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) years, the <br />first installment to be payable on or after the fITst Monday in January 2015 and shall bear interest at the rate <br />of 3.00 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of <br />payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County <br />Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the <br />statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be <br />extended on the property tax list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the <br />same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Adop d this 23rd day of September, 2014. <br />Kare <br />Depu <br />ATTEST:
