No testimony was given. The Planning Commission recommended unanimous approval <br />consistent with the staff recommendation. <br />Financial Impact: Not applicable — unlike many other telecommunications requests, this one is on <br />private property and does not require a lease amendment. <br />Explanation: T- Mobile Central LLC is requesting a Special Use Permit to allow installation of three <br />additional telecommunications antenna on the existing telecommunications monopole located at 348/350 <br />1St Street SW. T- Mobile currently has nine antennas at this location and wishes to increase their antenna <br />amount to 12. All telecommunication uses are specially permitted uses in New Brighton. Because T- <br />Mobile's original approval only allowed for nine antennas, a new Special Use Permit must be approved <br />to increase the amount. No substantive changes will be made to the ground equipment or lease space on <br />the Wolkerstrofer property. Unlike many of the telecommunications antenna/towers in the City, these <br />tower /antennas are located on privately owned property verses located on City water towers or on <br />publicly -owned property such as City parks. The original tower was constructed in 2006 and is located <br />at the northwest corner of the property. <br />A full analysis of the applicable special use standards of Zoning Code Sections 4 -600 and 8 -130 are <br />provided in the written Planning Report.
