8. The Planning Commission and City Council found the Special Use Permit criteria of Section <br />8 -130 are met due to the following: <br />a. The antennas are being mounted to an existing telecommunications tower. <br />b. The antennas will be located at the top of the nearly 100' telecommunications tower and <br />will not be readily visible from the ground. <br />c. Nine telecommunication antennas currently exist on the tower whereby three additional <br />antennas, coupled with the surrounding industrial uses, railroads, and Interstate 35W, will <br />likely not be noticeable by the public. <br />d. No residential uses are nearby. <br />e. No substantive changes are being made to the ground equipment and lease space. <br />Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that based upon the above Findings of Fact the application <br />for a Special Use Permit (SP2014 -006) is hereby approved. <br />Adopted this 28th day of October, 2014. <br />ATTEST: <br />Karen Halley, Deputy City Clerk <br />Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br />Dean R.
