<br />- <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />t ~, <br /> <br />Council Member Lar s on introduced the following resolution, the reading of <br />which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.98-045 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE DECERTIFICATION OF <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRlCTNO. 24 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of New Brighton (the "City") <br />established Development District No.1 (the "Project Area") on December 22, 1981. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within its Project Area, the Council established Tax Increment Financing <br />District No. 24, identified on Exhibit A to this Resolution, and adopted a Tax Increment <br />Financing Plan relating thereto on July 13, 1994, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections <br />469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended, and as may be supplemented <br />from time to time. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council decertify the Tax Increment Financing <br />District. <br /> <br />NOW, TIffiREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council ofthe City that Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 24 is hereby decertified from the City's Project Area. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City this 28 th day of April <br /> <br />,1998. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member do f f ma n , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Benke, Gunderman, Larson, Hoffman, Samuelson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br /> <br />1 <br />
