Explanation; Current HP SAN provider has announced the End Of Life (E DL) of the product in <br />2016. The current HP SAN if continued as the primary storage for the virtual server environment <br />for the City of New Brighton will require higher service call costs, limited performance and <br />spare parts upon failure which would result in longer non- operational down time for the City of <br />New Brighton. <br />The current HP SAN began as a small storage shelf in 2009 for the virtual server environment at <br />that time, As the City's virtual server environment grew so did the 1-IP SAN environment to <br />support the needs of the City's virtual servers. Current storage of City's 28 virtual servers oil the <br />HP SAN as of today's date is MIR <br />As of 2014 the HP SAN has reached the total available space that it can support without <br />purchasing more shelf's and hard drives.
