<br />1'''' ~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />'!(-o <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-078 <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />I: <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT AGAINST THE LOTS LOCATED AT 749 AND <br />750 22ND AVENUE NW ON PROJECT 96-1, STREET RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met <br />and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: The properties located at 749 22nd Avenue NW and 750 22nd Avenue NW. <br /> <br />BY; <br /> <br />The construction of storm sewer, watermain, sanitary sewer repairs, concrete <br />curb and gutter, and street surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $ I ,342.20. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing Improvement <br />Number 6567, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the <br />lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be <br />benefitted by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of <br />ten (10) years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, <br />1998 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.50 percent per annum from the adoption of <br />this assessment resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest <br />shall be charged jfthe entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this <br />resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of <br />assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such <br />in case made and provided. <br />5.
