This represents final payment. Legislative History: Council approved Plans and Specifications November 26, 2013 Bids opened by Staff January 14, 2014 Bid Awarded January 28, 2014 Change Order #1 Approved May 13, 2014 Change Order #2 Approved July 8, 2014 Change Order #3 Approved August 12, 2014 Change Order #4 Approved November 25, 2014 Change Order #5 Approved January 13, 2015 Change Order #6 Approved February 10, 2015 Financial Impact: The payment represents final payment including release of held retainage, and the project is considered complete. Explanation: This project consists of rehabilitating the four iron/manganese removal system filter vessels at WTP#1. Project items include: 1. Site mobilization, temporary entrance, demobilization. 2. Remove filter media and gravel. 3. Filter vessel inlet pipe inspection. 4. Remove underdrain nozzles. 5. Prepare and re -coat filter interiors (includes surface preparation, stripe coat, primer and finish coat(s). 6. Provide new underdrain nozzles. 7. Remove and provide new sample tap screens. 8. Provide new access manway gaskets. 9. Provide new gravel retaining screens. 10. Provide new gravel base and filter media. 11. Disinfect vessels and provide bacteriological testing. 12. ASME vessel recertification. 13. Remove existing and provide new inlet distributor piping for all vessels. 14. Remove existing and provide new air wash distributor piping for all vessels. 15. Remove and replace stainless steel studs, clips, and underdrain support steel used to support the media and gravel retaining screen (added via Change Orders 1 and 3). 16. Repair welds in lower chamber of Filter 2 (added via Change Order 4). 17. Repair welds in lower chamber of Filter 1 and modification to the gravel retaining screen brackets (added via Change Order 6). Costs and Funding: The total cost of this project will be funded from Fund 206 — NBCGRS Army Water Fund.
