Commissioner Lamp asked if there was a way to compare the current year fire stats with last year's <br />stats. Staff will check into this. <br />Commissioner Lamp asked if our department has received any negative comments, etc., from recent <br />events. Director Jacobson stated not from members of our community. He thinks we have gotten more <br />positive feedback because of some of these events. Commissioner Boyd stated he is very impressed <br />with the monthly report provided and stated the media reports on so much negative stuff when there is <br />so much positive. <br />Council Liaison <br />A. Council Report <br />Council Member Burg reported the 2015 City Budget is now posted on the web site. <br />Council Member Burg noted a topic of discussion at the recent Council Retreat was where are we going <br />and what is next for our city. The Council will meet with the Economic Development Commission <br />(EDC) to discuss ideas of what the City should focus on. <br />The Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at the Community Center, starting at 8:00 am. <br />The Neighborhood Meetings will be changed up this year and be held at different locations; not just at <br />neighborhood centers. The first Neighborhood Meeting will be held at Applewood Point; date and time <br />to be determined. <br />The 2015 Health and Fitness Expo was held on January 10th from 9:30 am — 1:30 pm at the Community <br />Center; there were 46 vendors and over 900 people attended. <br />Commissioner <br />seconded by C <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Julie Forbord <br />Office Supervisor <br />January Public Safety Commission meeting; <br />leeting adjourned at 7:50 pm. <br />
