During <br />construction it was determined the existing storm sewer pipe network was installed with a sewer <br />main running through the middle of one of our manholes. The project as bid, included removal <br />and replacement of the sanitary sewer pipes/mh's in this area. With the new pipe installed the <br />proper clearance/separation from the sanitary and storm sewer pipes could not be met without the <br />proposed revisions to the storm sewer network. This work was not anticipated at the time of the <br />bid and would need to be paid for by change order. Please see attached payment breakdown for <br />details. <br />Explanation: The project consists of the removal and replacement of the bituminous surfacing, <br />the removal and replacement of designated sections of concrete curb and gutter, utility <br />improvements, improved pedestrian facilities (with an upgraded pedestrian crossing near the <br />New Brighton Community Center), LED lighting, a new traffic signal, and landscape <br />improvements on the following streets: <br />
