ORDINANCE NO. 835 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />A ZONING CODE AMENDMENT <br />RELATED HELIPADS AS <br />SPECIALLY PERMITTED USES <br />IN THE NBE, NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE <br />ZONING DISTRICT <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS as follows: <br />Section 1. New Brighton City Code, Chapter 6, Article 6, Section 6-693 is hereby <br />amended by adding paragraph C as follows: <br />C. Heli ads defined for the purpose of this sectionas at- rade take-offand landin aiea <br />for helico tees subiect to the fnl[owina conditions: <br />1. The helipad must be accesso to> the office use. <br />2. Permitted only on ro erties containing, all of the followin attrrhutes: <br />a. At least four 4 acres in area or the princi ara 1 use has been permitted ria a <br />Planned Development <br />b. A tfing Interstates 694 or 35W. <br />3. Landing ads shall meet the following setbacks: <br />a. at least 320' from multi -family_ residential uses <br />b. at least 820' from single family residential Eases <br />C. at least 800' from schools churches nursingIlomes or similar types of <br />public institutional uses <br />d. at least 2500' from another helipad <br />4. Landjn2 Dads shall he ren-onably screened from public ri hts-of--wa ofminor <br />arterial status or greater and include a 36" hedge and/orwall combination around <br />the erimeter. <br />5. A maximum of 20 landings per calendar year. A landin shall be defined as an <br />arrival and a de arture associated with the same tripiFli�ht logs shall be ke t and <br />made available to Cit staff for review to confirm compliance with this section. <br />6. Landin s shall not he f-.rm itteriduring the hours of 712m — 7am Monday thru <br />Frid i . Weekend and holiday lanolin s are prohibited. <br />7.
