Mayor Johnson believed this was a serious situation that she did not want to be taken lightly. She reported that <br />Councilmembers are not allowed to contact the City Attorney for their own personal gain. She commented <br />that each Councilmember had to play by the same set of rules. She indicated she had no problem with the <br />petition and while she didn't agree with it, she understood this was part of the process. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen clarified that a petition does not have to be run by an attorney in order to be <br />presented to the City.
