COMMUNITY POLICING AND CRIME AND FIRE PREVENTION <br />ACTIVITIES <br /> <br /> This section contains information on our community policing, fire and crime <br />prevention activities. <br /> On October 22nd Firefighter Jeremy Berger visited multiple apartment complexes within <br />the community to conduct kitchen fire safety demonstrations. This is the second time the <br />department has conducted this training. The previous time staff did the training <br />approximately one month later a kitchen fire was extinguished by a resident who reported <br />if they did not attend the training they would not have known what to do and there would have been a significant fire. <br />
