11 <br /> <br /> <br />X. OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> <br /> This section will review the ongoing administrative issues and meetings during the <br />month. This includes meetings, policy issues, ordinance changes, and personnel issues. <br />And, this also includes meetings of a county wide, regional, and/or statewide basis on public safety related issues. <br />Acting Deputy Director Hamdorf participated in a task force from the Ramsey County <br />Fire Chiefs association to identify fire protection plans in the event of a large scale <br />disorderly protest. The planning process will also be utilized to identify an all hazards approach to managing resources during a high impact event. <br />On October 27th Acting Deputy Director Hamdorf conducted OSHA training for City <br />Hall and Parks and Recreation Staff. <br /> <br />XI. RECOGNITION, NEWS AND INFORMATION <br /> <br /> This section will include “good news” information about our public safety personnel. <br />This will include formal and informal recognition of the department and/or its personnel on or off duty. <br /> <br />On October 9th Acting Director Paetznick, Captain Barte, Firefighter Macziewski all <br />participated in the Twin Cities Marathon. Firefighter Macziewski and Acting Director <br />Paetznick not only ran the 26.2 miles on Sunday but also ran a 5K and a 10K on Saturday. <br />
