13 <br />On October 25th at the regular Council meeting, staff presented two employees of <br />Freeway Towing with the Civilian Service Award. The award was presented to Troy Hoover and Robert Flannigan for their efforts in wrestling a handgun away from a suspect who was later convicted for possession of the firearm. <br /> <br /> <br /> On October 20th the Fire Division took delivery of the new fire truck. The new truck was <br />designed and construction began approximately 14 months prior. The truck came in <br />under budget and will be placed in to service once all staff members are trained on its <br />safe operation. The previous truck which was almost 30 years old was sold to the <br />Kabetagoma Fire Department. <br />
