pop City of <br />the city that works for you <br />New Brighton <br />Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission <br />Minutes <br />September 7, 2016 <br />Conference Room <br />Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission Worksession 7:15 PM <br />Present: Commissioners Eischen, Fields, Kunesh-Podein, McEathron, Parker and Quade, Director <br />Breuer and Assistant Director Hicks <br />Absent: Commissioners Brunell, Justin and Stenglein <br />A. Writing Fact Statements for the Did You Know Program <br />Commission members moved to the conference room after the regular meeting. <br />Commissioners each brought a fact to the worksession and learned how to apply the fact to the New <br />Brighton Parks and Recreation Department. <br />The first fact mentioned was: A young sapling absorbs between 1.0-1.3 lbs of carbon per year. This could <br />be applied to the Arbor Day tree sale information.
