Councilmember Bauman was pleased that the Council was in favor of opting out in order to find legislation <br />that would properly suit the City of New Brighton. <br />Mayor Johnson recommended the height of the temporary health care dwellings be addressed by the Planning <br />Commission to ensure that two story units were not allowed. <br />Mayor Johnson requested staff plan for a legislative update from Connie Bernardy and Carolyn Laine. <br />Further discussion ensued regarding the recent neighborhood meeting at Vermont Park. <br />Lotter noted the City Council Meeting for Tuesday, August 9`' would be moved to Monday, August 8th due to <br />the Primary Election.
