<br />. <br />,.. <br /> <br />oj <br /> <br />!o <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 96- 070 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS AND SETTING DATE FOR ASSESSMENT HEARING ON <br />PROJECTS TO BE SPECIAL ASSESSED IN 1996. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following public improvement projects were ordered by the City Council of the City of <br />New Brighton at Public Improvement Hearings, noticed and held as required by law. <br /> <br />Project 94-7 <br />Project 95-3 <br />Project 95-4 <br />Project 96-9 <br /> <br />Brighton Green Utilities <br />Street Reconstruction <br />5th Avenue NW/IOth Street NW Streets cape and Rehabilitation <br />634 Inca Lane Sanitary Sewer Service <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said improvement projects are now completed so that the costs thereof can be special <br />assessed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The cost of such improvements to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $552,626.01. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvements against every assessable lot, place, or <br />parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and <br />shall file a copy of such proposed assessments in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessments, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />4. That a public hearing on the proposed assessments be set for October 8, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />5.
