Authorization for a Mayor and City Manager to execute a Term Sheet between <br />the City of New Brighton and TUV SUD America, including execution of a <br />Right -of -Entry Agreement concerning development of Block D in New <br />Brighton Exchange with a 36,500 SF office/testing/certification building. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Strub to Authorize the Mayor <br />and City Manager to execute a Term Sheet, between the City of New Brighton and TUV <br />SUD America, including execution of a Right -of -Entry Agreement concerning <br />development of Block D in New Brighton Exchange with a 36,500 SF <br />office/testing/certification building. <br />City Manager Lotter indicated Assistant Director Community Assets and Development/Planning Director <br />Gundlach would be presenting this item to the Council. <br />Assistant Director Community Assets and Development/Planning Director Gundlach explained as the <br />Council has been advised via the Weekly Memo, City staff and Ryan Companies have been in <br />discussions over the last several months with TUV SUD regarding a development proposal for <br />Block D in New Brighton Exchange. These discussions have culminated into the attached <br />Term Sheet, which intends to outline the general deal parameters and obligations of a <br />development proposal that consists of construction of a 36,500 SF office/testing/certification <br />(industrial flex) building, and associated surface parking, utility, and landscaping <br />6.
