Mayor Johnson asked if the Council would be voting on the liaison appointments this evening. City Manager <br />Lotter reported this item was on the Consent Agenda for approval. <br />The Council then discussed Lions Park and it was noted this park would be handicap accessible. City Manager <br />Lotter commented on the funding gap for the park. <br />Mayor Johnson indicated she was contacted by a resident that was interested in holding a fundraiser for Lions <br />Park. She also understood the Lions were interested in having a fountain in the park, which would take time to <br />order and install. <br />The Council was in favor of further discussing the funding gap for Lions Park at an upcoming worksession <br />meeting. <br />Lotter reviewed the proposed agenda for the Town Hall meeting. The Council discussed the items that would <br />be addressed by each Councilmember at the Town Hall meeting. Discussion ensued regarding the replacement <br />of the Eagle's Nest play equipment along with a requirement within Minnesota State Fire Code. <br />Lotter provided the Council with an update on the City's water treatment plant. <br />Lastly, the Council discussed the potential of having a dog park in the City of New Brighton.
