<br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-101 <br />City of New Brighton <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2005 BUDGETS <br /> <br /> <br />ereas, changes have occurred during the year for which the 2005 has no budget <br />propriations; and <br /> <br />ereas, it is appropriate for the City Council to amend the budgets from time to <br />e to reflect those changes which occur during the year; and <br /> <br />ereas, the reserves in the General Fund are below the targeted levels of the City's <br />licy and the strategy to correct that includes making a transfer from the Community <br />investment Fund into the General Fund; and <br /> <br />ereas, the City Forestry Department incurred substantial costs to clean up damages <br />both public and private properties caused by a violent wind storm which occurred <br />September and had no budget appropriations for them; and <br /> <br />ereas, a transfer from the Community Reinvestment Fund will pay for these stonn <br />an up costs; and <br /> <br />ereas, three additional activities (an employee survey, hiring a consultant for the <br />ty Manager's review, and Long Lake Water Patrol pilot project) occurred during <br />05 which were not budgeted; and <br /> <br />ereas, the General Fund balance will be used to pay for those three activities. <br /> <br />w, Therefore, Be It Resolved that: the Finance Director is authorized and directed <br />amend the 2005 Budgets as follows: <br /> <br />eneral Fund: <br />Increase: <br />Decrease: <br /> <br />Revenues - Transfers In <br />Revenues -Retained Earn.
