RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />:' HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 96-4/ RECONSTRUCTION OF 8TH <br />; AVENUE NW BETWEEN OLD HIGHWAY 8 AND 10TH STREET NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council order, a report has been prepared by the <br />'. Engineering Department of the City of New Brighton with reference to the construction of <br />:; Improvement Project 96A, Reconstruction of 8th Avenue NW between Old Highway 8 and <br />. 10th Street NW in 1996, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this feasibility report was received by the City Council of the City of <br />:: New Brighton on June 25, 1996. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton: <br /> <br />1. That Council will consider the construction of the proposed Improvement 96-4, <br />Reconstruction of 8th Avenue NW between Old Highway 8 and 10th Street NW, <br />in accordance with the report and the assessment of contiguous or benefitting <br />properties for all or a portion of the cost of the installation, pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statute 429.011, law 1955, Chapter 393, as amended, at the estimated cost of <br />$340,000. <br /> <br />2.
