RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 17- <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING SIGNAGE ON 6TH <br />STREET NW AT OLD HIGHWAY 8. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff received a request to review the possibility of adding “No Parking” signage on the <br />south side of 6th Street NW just west of Old Highway 8; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the engineering staff and the Public Safety Commission have reviewed this location and <br />concluded that the installation of “No Parking” signage would provide improved safety at all times for <br />vehicles traveling on 6th Street NW and vehicles existing the adjacent Minnoco; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the elimination of on street parking at this location will not adversely impact the local <br />residents due to the amount of off street parking options available in the area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of New Brighton hereby <br />orders the installation of the following No Parking Signage: <br /> <br />1. Add two (2) “No Parking Between Signs” signs on the south side of 6th Street NW from the alley <br />to Old Highway 8 NW. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 2017 by the New Brighton City Council with a vote of _____ ayes <br />and _____ nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Valerie Johnson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Dean R.
