June 13, 2017 Page 6 of 6 <br /> <br />Brian Strub <br />Councilmember Strub reported the Planning Commission would meet next on Tuesday, June <br />20th. He encouraged the public to participate in Stockyard Days this summer. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson <br />Mayor Johnson congratulated all of the 2017 graduates within the school district and wished <br />them well in the future. She commented on the presentation that was made by the For Jake’s <br />Sake Foundation and encouraged residents to drop off any unused or expired medications at <br />the Public Safety Department’s newly installed drop box. She reported she would be attending <br />the League of Minnesota Cities Conference and was proud of the fact City Attorney Sonsalla <br />would be a guest speaker at this event. She addressed the concerns some residents have had <br />with the City’s local parks and reviewed the numerous ways the City was working to enhance <br />its City’s assets.
