<br />Class 3 New Brighton residents and businesses, non-profit organizations, <br />religious organizations, Non-District 621 schools <br /> <br />Class 4 Non-residents and businesses <br /> <br />Class 1 groups do not pay reservation fees. Class 2 groups pay Community Use <br />Fees associated with the reservation. Class 3 and 4 pay the going rates set in <br />the fee schedule. All classes are responsible for any food and beverage service <br />fees. <br /> <br />Class 2 groups are defined as groups that have at least 50% New Brighton <br />residents or are approved by PREC. This process has been traditionally been <br />approved on an honor basis. Rosters of groups have not been verified nor has <br />PREC approved groups. <br /> <br />Class 2 Stipulations <br /> <br />One of the goals in the creation of the current Facility Use Policy was the desire <br />to preserve the ability to generate revenue. Additional stipulations were put into <br />the policy the further defined how often and when Community Use fees would be <br />charged as well as what the groups will be charged for additional equipment <br />requests. The current policy states: <br /> <br />Class 2 <br />A community use fee will be assessed for: <br /> Up to two reservations per month for the NBCC and Neighborhood <br />Centers, with the purpose of the meeting being directly related to <br />conducting the group’s primary business. <br /> Monday through Friday reservations, Monday through Thursday <br />Community Room reservations <br /> Community room set up, non-standard room set up <br />Class 3 fees will be charged for the following: <br /> Meetings/events not directly related to conducting the group’s primary <br />business or the participants are required to pay a fee for the event <br />(examples: group social, banquet, fund-raiser, school retreats, AP testing, <br />retirement party) <br /> Saturday and Sunday reservations <br /> More than two reservations in a one month period at the New Brighton <br />Community Center or Neighborhood Centers <br /> Audio/visual equipment, office supplies (flip chart, copies, etc.) <br /> Food and beverage service <br /> Lining and dragging fields <br /> Field Lights <br /> Any other special request <br /> Brightwood Hills Clubhouse
