<br /> <br />Classification of User Groups <br />Class 1 City of New Brighton; City sponsored meetings/events <br /> <br />Class 2 Community groups which have at least 50% New Brighton <br />residents or are approved by the PREC (examples: athletic <br />associations, scouts, historical society, town home associations, <br />booster clubs); School District 621 during school hours; <br />Governmental agencies meetings/events which have a benefit to <br />New Brighton residents. The purpose of the reservation must be <br />directly related to conducting the group’s primary business. <br /> <br />Class 3 New Brighton residents and businesses, non-profit organizations, <br />religious organizations, Non-District 621 schools <br /> <br />Class 4 Non-residents and businesses <br /> <br />Class 1 groups do not pay reservation fees. Class 2 groups pay Community Use <br />Fees associated with the reservation. Class 3 and 4 pay the going rates set in <br />the fee schedule. All classes are responsible for any food and beverage service <br />fees. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends clarifying a current Class and adding one additional Class as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Classification of User Groups <br />Class 1 City of New Brighton; City sponsored meetings/events; City <br />sponsored organizations. <br /> <br />Class 2 Meetings/events hosted by city staff/officials that are in direct <br />relation to their job function. <br /> <br />Class 3 Community groups which have at least 50% New Brighton <br />residents or are approved by the PREC (examples: athletic <br />associations, scouts, historical society, town home associations, <br />booster clubs); School District 621 during school hours; <br />Governmental agencies meetings/events which have a benefit to <br />New Brighton residents.
