<br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON AND <br /> MOUNDS VIEW PUBLIC SCHOOLS, INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 621 <br /> FOR POLICE SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS <br /> <br />This Agreement is between the City of New Brighton (hereinafter referred to as City) and <br />Mounds View Public Schools, Independent School District No. 621, (hereinafter referred to as <br />District 621). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has been providing on-site police school resource officers at Irondale High <br />School; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 has found the services provided by the police school resource officers <br />at Irondale High School to be of great benefit; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 wishes to continue to have a full time police school resource officer at <br />Iro ndale High School during the 2017 - 2018 school year; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has been providing on-site police school resource officers at Highview <br />Middle School; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 has found the services provided by the police school resource officers <br />at Highview Middle School to be of great benefit; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 wishes to continue to have a full time police school resource officer at <br />Highview Middle School during the 2017 - 2018 school year; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 believes that the services provided by a police school resource officer <br />to serve at the District’s elementary schools and education centers, including Bel Air Elementary, <br />Sunnyside Elementary, Pike Lake Education Center, Area Learning Center, and Early Childhood <br />Education Center will be of great benefit; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 wishes to have a full time police school resource officer serving at the <br />District’s elementary schools including Bel Air Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, Pike Lake <br />Education Center, Early Childhood Education Center, and Area Learning Center during the 2017 <br />- 2018 school year; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 have determined that they will reimburse the City of New Brighton for <br />the personnel and program costs for the high school resource officer; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 has determined that they will reimburse the City of New Brighton for <br />the personnel and program costs for the middle school resource officer; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, District 621 has determined that they will reimburse the City of New Brighton for
