Paetznick, Director of Public Safety <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER APPROVAL: <br /> <br /> <br />No comments to supplement this report _______ Comments attached ______ <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve the Cooperative Agreement Regarding Public Safety Related To 2018 National Football <br />League Super Bowl Security. <br /> <br />Legislative History: <br />None <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />Costs relating to supporting the 2018 National Football League Super Bowl security will be <br />reimbursed by the City of Minneapolis and supported by existing budgetary allotments requiring <br />no additional funding. <br /> <br />Explanation: <br />The City of Minneapolis has been selected to host the 2018 NFL Super Bowl. The 2018 NFL <br />Super Bowl entails events which will occur primarily between January 26, 2018 and February 5, <br />2018 and will require law enforcement resources from throughout the State to provide security <br />and safety to the attendees.
