<br />In comparison to the City of New Brighton’s identified comparable cities, we rank 10th out of 11 for the cost of services per
<br />capita. Our cost of services is $663 less per capita than Golden Valley and $150 more per capita than White Bear Lake.

<br />
<br />Ranking in the bottom two of our comparable cities in the cost of services per capita, while also ranking much higher than
<br />regional and national benchmarks in overall quality of services, shows how the City of New Brighton has been able to
<br />effectively budget for services over the years. We will continue to use our unique, cross departmental budgeting process
<br />in order to deliver high quality services in a cost effective manner in comparison to our comparable cities.
