BIAS CRIME REPORTS <br /> <br />This section will contain any information regarding bias and/or hate crimes in the City of <br />New Brighton. <br /> <br />There were no bias crime reports this month. <br /> <br />VII. VOLUNTEER SERVICES <br /> <br />This section contains information on our various volunteer organizations related to Public <br />Safety. This includes the activities of the Public Safety Commission, Police Reserves, <br />Police Explorers, and Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS). <br /> <br />Irondale School Resource Officer Aaron Slack and Officer Brianna Riedel, as the agency <br />Advisors for the Law Enforcement Exploring program, accompanied 11 youth to the <br />22nd annual Duluth Conference at Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College during <br />the MEA break. <br /> <br />VIII. HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> This section will review ongoing activities for homeland security and emergency <br />management. This includes the activities of the New Brighton Community Emergency <br />Response Teams (CERT). <br /> <br /> <br />IX. TRAINING <br /> <br />This section will review the training activities of our Public Safety personnel for the <br />month. <br /> <br />Deputy Fire Chief/Parks Maintenance Employee Mike Schute and Deputy Fire <br />Chief/Police Officer Brad Krebsbach completed the All Hazards Incident Management <br />Team initial training course. The training course is an extensive 5-day training session <br />taught by the top instructors in the country that provides them with the foundation to
