o An inspection requirement upon occupancy and in the event a compliant is received. <br />o A fee amount to be determined by the City’s annual Fee Schedule (not set by <br />Ordinance). This allows the City to adjust the fee as experience dictates reasonable fee <br />amounts. <br />o A Guarantee of Removal requirement. This requires the licensee to enter into a legally <br />binding agreement requiring removal of the temporary dwelling. The agreement <br />requires a financial deposit and permission for the City (or our designee) to enter the <br />property to remove the temporary dwelling. <br /> <br />The draft ordinance is being reviewed by the City Attorney. If comments are received in time for the <br />work session discussion, they will be forwarded to the Commission. Staff recommends the Commission <br />discuss the draft ordinance and suggest any gaps in regulation and/or needed revisions. Next steps will <br />be discussed based on the Commission’s level of concern/comfort with the draft ordinance and City <br />Attorney comments. Staff looks forward to a good discussion. <br /> <br />
