1
Janice Gundlach
From:Renee Sawyer <reneegsawyer@yahoo.com>
Sent:Monday, March 13, 2017 5:27 PM
To:Janice Gundlach
Subject:United Theological Charter School
Hi Janice,
We received the notice about United Theological Seminary requesting to use their property for a Charter School. First
the Planning Commission meeting is only about a week away. This seems to be very short notice for the residents who
will be impacted by this possible change. I will be out of town and unable to attend the meeting on the 21st. I am hoping
there will be future meetings and updates. Below are questions I have that I hope the Planning Commission is able to
address.
1. What individuals or organization will be applying for Charter School status?
2. Who will be managing the school?
3. What type of Charter School will it be?
4. What is the time line for full operation?
5. What are the proposed school hours?
6. Will there be after school activities that will increase traffic after hours?
7. Will the building be retrofitted to ensure the safety of students and staff?
8. How will the flow of increased traffic be managed?
9. Where will student pick up and drop off be?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Regards,
Renee Sawyer
