From:Ramona Erickson
To:Janice Gundlach
Subject:Pics for 256 Cleveland Proposed Ofc Bldg
Date:Tuesday, June 13, 2017 2:59:46 PM
Attachments:Building Idea Photos 2.pdf
Hi Janice,

Here are a few shots that I’ve saved from my online searches. I can’t say that we would be doing
exactly any of the items pictured, though they do portray different ideas that inspire us.

At this point, I’m envisioning polished concrete floors for the reception area, with exposed steel
beams for the mezzanine that goes around the reception area. For noise and security purposes, the
mezzanine will actually be behind glass. For the ceiling, we would probably try to have exposed
trusses, ductwork, etc.

These pictures show wide-open floor plans, which doesn’t really fit us. We will have some open
areas for cubicle-style workstations, but our conference rooms and certain offices will need to have
real walls with real doors.

Just random and not that it really matters! but I’m thinking we could use the 2nd floor mezzanine
area like an “art gallery” to display framed, blown up photography submitted by our staff. Like
maybe have a certain theme (bridges, barns, railroads), and then ask our “smartphone savvy” staff
to submit photos. Winners get their images displayed in the office for six months or a year, and then
they could have them back for their own. Just a random thought that could be cool and also draw in
the field staff to have a little more connection with the agency. Anyway, then we pick a new theme,
etc. We’ve done that with our own shots in our current office through greatbigcanvas.com.

In any case, we’re looking for kind of an authentic warehouse-ish look with organic materials--
reclaimed wood, steel, glass, concrete. If we can get the project approved, we’re looking forward to
putting the project together!

Ramona K.
