This
meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 803 Old Highway 8 NW,
starting at 6:30 pm.

The discussion will focus on the potential to repurpose the courts from the current two
tennis court layout into a six pickleball court layout. The court location and footprint
would not change, only the usage of the court surface.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and
ping-pong. The game is played on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified
tennis net.

Following the discussion, PREC may vote to provide a recommendation to City Council
to repurpose the current tennis courts into pickleball courts.

This invitation is being sent to neighbors of the park. Please join us on June 7 if you
would like to listen to the discussion or have information you would like to add to the
discussion.

If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please contact Jason Hicks, Assistant
Parks and Recreation Director at 651-638-2147.

Sincerely,

Jason Hicks
Assistant Parks and Recreation Director
