New Brighton Lions Park History <br />Date <br />May 1, 2013 PREC hosted a Public Forum regarding North Park <br />June 5, 2013 PREC finalized a recommendation to Council for park amenities. This <br />included: a softball diamond and official lacrosse field with both <br />fields being lighted. The softball field would be 300 feet and the <br />lacrosse field would be 360 x 225 feet. <br />January 7, 2015 PREC update on New Brighton Exchange Parks <br />January 27, 2015 Update presented at Council Work Session <br />February 23, 2016 Entered into a professional services agreement with Anderson- <br />Johnson Associates <br />May 10, 2016 Council accepted donation from the New Brighton Lions Club and <br />renamed North Park to New Brighton Lions Park <br />May 10, 2016 Entered into professional services agreements with Barr Engineering <br />and American Engineering Testing <br />September 13, 2016 Council approved the plans and specs and authorized staff to <br />advertise for bids <br />October 11, 2016 Council awarded bid to Ramsey Excavating, Inc
