I’d like for
the city to embrace a sustainability goal. Fewer vehicle miles driven, less storm water run off, more efficient homes and
businesses.
5
Mention a commitment to transparency in all that we ( the City of New Brighton ) do/does and define this by several
actionable bullet items such as:
»meetings will be posted and open to the Public in accordance to Open Meeting laws [ cite statutes ]
»City meeting materials are provided via the city website, City Hall, and local Library, and telecast [ where]
»The city is committed to communicating with engaging it’s citizens by:
»Town Hall Meetings
»Public Forums
»Contacting City Staff ( include where contact info is provided)
»Contacting elected officials
»Newsletters
»Local press
»Facebook and social media
»and other additional means of community engagement.
6
7
8
9
