<br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 96 - 0 15 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A WARDING BID FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE FORMER <br />D & T TRUCKING SITE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the D & T Trucking purchase agreement was brought before New Brighton City <br />Council on February 13, 1996, and approved for the redevelopment of the area also known as <br />Brighton Corporate Park Phase II. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, bids for the demolition of the old D & T Trucking buildings located at 498 I st Street NW, <br />New Brighton MN, were received, opened and read aloud by the City Administration at 10:00 a.m. <br />on March 11, 1996, complying with the advertisement. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specification was found to be Herbst & Sons <br />Construction with a bid of $34,400. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of New Brighton: <br /> <br />. 1. That the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br />agreement with Herbst & Sons Construction for the demolition ofthe buildings at 498 1st <br />Street NW, New Brighton MN. <br /> <br />2.
