<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />Parks, Recreation and Environmental Commission <br />February 7, 2018 City Hall <br />Council Chambers 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />I. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Fields. <br /> <br />II. Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Commissioners Kevin Fields (Chair), Megan Eischen, Zachary Johnson, <br />Lawrence Justin, Abe McEathron, and Nick Quade. <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Pam Axberg and Jack Brunell. <br /> <br />Also Present: Director Jennifer Fink; Director of Community Assets and Development/City <br />Engineer Craig Schlichting; Recreation Coordinator Zoe Kesselring; and Council Member Mary <br />Burg. <br /> <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />Motion by McEathron, seconded by Eischen to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br /> <br />IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Commissioner Justin noted Jason Hicks was not in attendance at this meeting and requested the <br />minutes be amended to reflect this change. <br /> <br />Motion by Justin, seconded by Johnson to approve the January 3, 2018 minutes as presented. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />V. Business Items <br /> <br />A. Senior Programming – Zoe Kesselring and Lori Hokenson <br /> <br />Director Fink stated she was very proud of all of the programming the City has in place for its <br />seniors. She believed it was vital for the City to connect with its seniors as the community <br />continued to age in place. She explained Lori Hokenson and Zoe Kesselring would be providing <br />the Commission with a presentation on this topic. <br /> <br />Recreation Coordinator Kesselring provided the Commission with an update on the City’s Senior <br />Programming.
