<br />A. Council Report – Council Member Paul Jacobsen <br /> <br />Council Member Jacobsen thanked the PREC Commission members for their service to the <br />City and for providing the City Council with valuable feedback. He noted the City would be <br />replacing all water meters over the next three years. He reported the City passed an <br />Ordinance that would allow a dynamic billboard by the Community Center. He stated the <br />Community Open House would be held on Saturday, May 5th at the Community Center from <br />8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />B. PREC Chair Updates – Pam Axberg <br /> <br />Vice Chair Axberg wished Councilmember Jacobsen a Happy Birthday and thanked him for <br />his thorough report. She provided an update on the Hansen Park project and noted the pond <br />has many new avian visitors. <br /> <br />C. Department Happenings and Upcoming Events – City Staff <br /> <br />Director Fink stated Brightwood Golf Course opened on Friday, April 27th. She reviewed the <br />visitor numbers for the Eagle’s Nest and noted numbers and revenues were up. She <br />discussed the work being done by Twin Cities Gateway and noted she would be bringing the <br />Sports & Marketing Director Al Staufferud to a future PREC meeting. She reported the <br />Arbor Day event has been rescheduled to Friday, May 18th at Lions Park. <br /> <br />VII.
