<br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Consideration of a Resolution approving a Site Plan Amendment <br />for Pets Remembered, 15 2nd AVE SE. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD’S APPROVAL: Craig Schlichting, Director of Community Assets <br />& Development <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER APPROVAL: <br /> <br /> <br />No comments to supplement this report _______ Comments attached ______ <br /> <br />15.99 Deadline: 3/12/2018 <br /> <br />Recommendation: Adopt the attached Resolution approving the request as submitted and subject <br />to continued compliance with Resolution 2017-071. <br /> <br />Legislative History: January 16, 2018: The Planning Commission considered the request. A <br />public hearing was not required. The Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval <br />consistent with the staff recommendation. <br /> <br />November 28, 2017: The City Council approved a Site Plan request by adopting Resolution 2017- <br />071. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: None <br /> <br />Explanation: The applicant is requesting an amendment to a previously approved Site Plan, <br />allowing for the dimensions of the approved addition to be revised from 10’ x 25’ (250 SF) to 12’ <br />x 22’(264 SF). This revision is meant to allow the applicant to leave the existing electrical meter <br />is its current location, saving on costs to relocate, and to ensure adequate space to accommodate <br />the machine that would be housed in the addition. <br /> <br />The applicant was granted a Special Use Permit and Site Plan by the City Council on November <br />28, 2017. The approval conditions are outlined in Resolution 2017-071. Because the request does <br />not impact the special use, no public hearing or notification to the neighbors is required. <br />Additionally, none of the approved conditions are impacted by this requested revision. <br /> <br />Staff and the Planning Commission determined all Site Plan criteria have been met and are <br />recommending approval. <br /> <br />AGENDA SECTION: Consent <br />REPORT DATE: 1/18/2018 <br />MEETING DATE: 1/23/2018
