February 13, 2018 Page 3 of 7 <br />the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. He provided the Council with a year <br />in review for 2017, noting the group met 12 times. He reported PREC was very proud of the work completed <br />by this group and thanked the Council for hiring Director Fink. He noted the farmer’s market and new <br />Eagle’s Nest play structure were both great additions to the community. The initiatives for 2018 were <br />reviewed. It was noted PREC would be working to improve community engagement while also preparing <br />for a long term strategic plan. <br />Councilmember Burg thanked Chair Fields for his presentation. She stated it was a pleasure to serve as the <br />Council liaison to this group. <br />Mayor Johnson commended the PREC for all of the great work they completed in 2017, especially on the <br />Eagle’s Nest and Lions Park. She stated she looked forward to reviewing the group’s long term strategic <br />plan. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />1.
