She noted <br />the League of Women Voters would be holding a meeting on Thursday, January 22nd at the <br />New Brighton Community Center where the group will address homelessness. <br /> <br />Paul Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Jacobsen reported the Public Safety Commission met on Monday, February <br />12th noting the group discussed less than lethal use of force and traffic stop data. He explained <br />parking was prohibited on all City streets following a snow fall of three inches or more until <br />the street has been plowed curb to curb. He noted the CPY Leaders Luncheon would be held <br />on Tuesday, March 6th at 11:30 p.m. at the New Brighton Community Center. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson <br />Mayor Johnson commented on the ingenuity of the Public Works and Parks staff to create a <br />resurfacing machine for the ice rinks in New Brighton. She noted the City’s water treatment <br />facility was on schedule and noted it would be operational by the fall of 2018. She explained <br />the Council had begun holding meetings with local developers regarding the redevelopment of <br />the Korean Church. She stated once these meetings were complete the public would be <br />notified as to the options for this site. She reported neighborhood meetings would be held on <br />Thursday, February 22nd at Hanson Park and Thursday, March 22nd at Freedom Park.
