<br /> <br />stated that he and his neighbors were calling each other if they saw open garage doors <br />in order to increase safety. <br /> A commissioner asked for a response to the recent article that printed in the Star & <br />Tribune. Director Paetznick stated he was aware this event would happen and was <br />able to attend with Mayor Johnson. He discussed the community outreach events that <br />were held with the Oak Grove neighborhood to further relationships. He explained <br />the issues in the paper were concerning for the community and he would continue to <br />work with the Oak Grove management. He commented on the number of residents <br />that spoke at the Open Forum during the December 12th Council meeting. He <br />understood there was work that had yet to be done with this neighborhood and the <br />Public Safety Department. He anticipated that much of the negative comments <br />voiced during that meeting regarding law enforcement encompassed their feelings <br />towards immigration officers and not local police officers. <br /> <br />D.
