President John F. <br />Kennedy signed a proclamation in 1962 designating May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day <br />and the week in which it falls as Police Week. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />n/a <br /> <br />Explanation: <br />Suburban Ramsey County Law Enforcement Agencies have formally recognized and participated <br />in National Police Week in recognition of the sacrifice of law enforcement officers for several <br />years.
