The <br />Ambassadors presented the City Council with a portrait and introduced themselves, thanking the Council for <br />their continued support. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen thanked the New Brighton Ambassadors for serving the community well at all of <br />the events they attend throughout the year. <br />Councilmember Burg thanked the Ambassadors parents for getting them to events around the metro area. <br />Mayor Johnson thanked the Ambassadors for serving the City well and presented each of them with a key to <br />the City. <br /> <br /> 2. Proclamation declaring the week of May 20 through May 26 as Emergency Medical Services <br />Week. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Dunsworth to adopt a <br />proclamation declaring the week of May 20 through May 26 as Emergency Medical Services Week in <br />the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson read a proclamation in full for the record declaring May 20 through May 26 to be Emergency <br />Medical Services week in the City of New Brighton. <br />Patricia Petty, Allina, introduced herself to the Council and stated it was an honor to serve the City of New <br />Brighton. She reviewed the number of calls for service in the community and explained she appreciated the <br />fact the Council took the time to offer this proclamation. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen thanked Allina for their continued partnership and for the tremendous service they <br />provide to the community. <br />Mayor Johnson thanked Allina for their great work and partnership with the City of New Brighton. <br /> <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays - Motion Carried <br /> <br /> 3. Proclamation Honoring Cor Wilson, Executive Director of North Suburban Communications <br />Commission/CTV North Suburbs. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen, seconded by Councilmember Dunsworth to offer a <br />proclamation honoring Cor Wilson, Executive Director of North Suburban Communications <br />Commission/CTV North Suburbs. <br /> <br />Mayor Johnson read a proclamation honoring Cor Wilson, Executive Director of North Suburban <br />Communications Commission/CTV North Suburbs and thanked her for her 27½ years of dedicated service <br />to the community and wished her well in her retirement. <br />Cor Wilson thanked the Council for the recognition. She stated it has been an honor and a privilege to service <br />this community. <br />Councilmember Jacobsen thanked Ms. Wilson for her service to the City. <br />Councilmember Burg discussed how Ms. Wilson has served as a national leader in creating an atmosphere <br />that supports local cable television programming and worked to enhance PEG fees.
